Crochet Fashion Trends 2023

"Crochet fashion" typically refers to clothing and accessories that are made using the crochet technique. This style of fashion can include dresses, tops, sweaters, skirts, hats, bags, and various other items. Crochet fashion often has a distinct and unique look, as the intricate patterns and textures created by crochet stitches add a handmade and artistic quality to the items. Crochet fashion can range from casual and bohemian styles to more formal and elegant designs, depending on the choice of materials, colors, and patterns.

Crochet is one of my favourite Spring/ Summer fabrics because it feels like the epitome of laid-back, breezy style. There’s been a resurgence recently, but the new take is more sophisticated than the festival-inspired crochet of the 1970s. 2023 crochet has traded bright and bohemian, for neutral and wearable. I’ve been seeing designers use it in traditional silhouettes, like sundresses, tank tops, and totes, that make it easy to add a touch of this pretty fabric to your everyday wardrobe.
